Year 4 are #enjoying learning all about decimals this week. We have been whizzing through, understanding tenths and hundredths. 

Year 4 have been working hard to learn the shapes of our new non-fiction topic. We learned what shapes we can use and looked at examples. We also used our class chrome books to complete some research that we can use on our non-fiction text. 

Year 4 #enjoyed learning about States of Matter yesterday. We make a slime that was a solid and also a liquid! The children loved our investigation and was a great way to kick start our new topic. 

Year 4 #embraced calculating perimeters this week. We have worked using different methods and also found perimeters when sections have been removed. 

Year 4 are loving having their spelling buddies back and being able to complete all of our fun spelling activities! 

This week, Year 4 found out all about the Census. We looked into what the Census was, how important it is and we realised that this was the first time that we would be counted. #embrace

Year 4 are really #enjoying all of our school activities since our return, especially using the new class chrome books! It’s made our TTRS sessions super fun and exciting! 

And that’s a wrap! Year 4 have #enjoyed the fun up to Christmas. With party games, hot chocolate and movie mornings, we are all ready for the Christmas break!

Year 4 have taken part in another festive activity this afternoon. We #embraced paper crafting today to create some Christmas stockings. 

Year 4 have loved creating their Christmas cards over the past two afternoons. They cannot wait to spead Christmas cheer to their families. 

Year 4 #evolved their computing skills, creating algorithms and debugging yo complete their Hour of Code. 

What a lovely morning Year 4 have had. They really #enjoyed their Now Press Play session all about Roman Britain. We used the headsets to walk in a Roman child’s shoes during the rebellion. They throughly loved the session and enjoyed the different experience.
