Class of 2027

Year 2 #enjoyed finishing their puppets today! It was great to see our 2D designs turn into a 3D product, learning ways that we can join material. 

Year 2 #enjoyed creating their plasticine figures this morning. We were inspired by our artist Keith Haring and created a whole class piece, celebrating our Year 2 class. 
 

Year 2 have been learning all about #saferinternetday. We have learnt how to keep passwords safe by reading @childsnet story on Digiduck. We also talked about what we should and should not share online. 

This week, our Year 2 artists completed their Keith Haring inspired paintings by adding the thick, black lines. Our marks made a big difference and made our characters stand out.

Year 2 #enjoyed painting today, creating pieces inspired by Keith Haring. We discussed his work’s characteristics and started to develop our own bright, happy paintings.

Year 2 have made memories they'll never forget at Imagine That! today.

Year 2 have had lost of fun in the snow today.

Today, Year 2 learnt about Continents and Oceans.

They #enjoyed looking at the globe to find out where where the continents and oceans are and created their own maps.

Year 2 have had a fantastic start to the new year and have been learning all about 3D shapes. 

Year 2 have been making Rudolph chocolate cornflake cakes for our Christmas fayre

Today, Year 2 have learnt about the events of the Great Fire of London and created their own timelines. 

Year 2 #embraced their Science lesson today.

We were amazed when we made an egg float by adding salt to the water.
